Cut Simple Forms

I started using some paper my wife brought home from work—stuff they were going to throw out. I was looking for colors that would go with the blue background of my Uglybooks notebook (or sketchbook, whichever). The paper felt good to work with, and before I knew it, I’d spent way more time on the project than I planned. I really liked how strong the compositions were, even with simple cut forms.
